I have Potting Mix, but now I’m moving to make a raised bed.

Melissa Steinman if you fill the raised bed with potting mix, you can get away with some topsoil.

If I arrange for a truck load should I plan for a LOT of amendment?

    Quincey Adams · April 16, 2020 at 8:20 PM

Melissa Steinman if you can get a truck load of potting soil or garden soil, not much amending is needed. You do not want a truck load of top soil. Getting a truck load of compost is a better option. You can fill an outdoor raised bed with just compost.

Melissa Steinman being frugal with your garden just takes planning. I will get into how I make my plans next week.

Do you have a favorite brand of soil?

    Quincey Adams · April 16, 2020 at 8:17 PM

Cindy Barry nope, I get a mid priced option. This year I bought expert garden soil.
